Not Totally Wordless Wednesday

So tonight I was practicing two things at once.  I was holding a toy above my head in order to get a good "I want it" face from Ray and I was celebrating the fact that he is maturing enough to sit and want it while exibiting a little impulse control.  Yay, Ray! Thanks for all the great feedback yesterday.  Today's picture and your nice comments reaffirm the fact that we love our pooches so much and with great training, both formal and informal, plus perserverance and patience from us we will "get there."

  1. Yes! The other thing I've noticed is that sometimes we're so busy concentrating on the difficult, that we forget to see where we did make the progress (I am completely guilty of this!). Good for Ray!

    1. I do that all the time. Something mundane will happen then I will realize I had never been able to do that before. e.g. playing tug and being able to look away!

  3. I'm not sure how you guys get anything done with that precious face around! What a sweet nugget. I try to remember that in 6 months, we'll (hopefully) look back on these hardships now and think about how far we've come.
