Nearly Wordless Wednesday

First, thanks to all of you for being such good sports. Last year Corbin did something similar and I nearly freaked out reading it. I actually am not a fan of April Fool's pranks, but this one just set itself up so nicely. Anyhow, Tora was on television yesterday and I'm confident that she will be in a great home soon.

So, as you may have seen, we've been hinting about the fun place Asia went over the weekend and about who she got to meet. I think she is going to guest blog about it soon, but here's a picture to whet your appetite.



That's right, she got to meet the fabulous Miss M, Miss M's "servants" and her dog, Mr. B! WOOT! (I'm not even jealous only a little jealous completely jealous.)

Poor little hand-me-down brother syndrome continues as Julius will not have a fancy collar to wear for Christmas. This picutre was taken October 22 and he has already outgrown this collar.

Along the same note, Kevin and I were discussing buying Ray a new Ruffwear winter coat and naturally, Julius will have to wear the hand me down puffer jacket. The funniest part is that Julius is now taller than Ray, only not quite as bulky yet. Someday he will be able to wear firsties, too.

We've been scarce here and I thank you for your patience.  Like I mentioned before I have several post ideas in my head and even some started in draft but not published yet.  We've been busy trying to figure out how to get our Glamour Girl adopted and sharing some other great adoptable dogs as well. 

We thought we'd leave the creativity to you on this fine Wednesday.  What do you think is on Ray's mind today?

Since this week would have been her birthday week, we are remembering E.T. aka Prissy Pants on Wordless Wedesday.

 

 

 

She was one of Boo Kitties babies, a litter of three calico kitties.  Born in our closet, she never went outside but her proudest achievement was catching a mouse (so we don't talk about the fact that said mouse was already in a trap.)

As I always think a home is not complete without a black cat, I believe Asia will always yearn for a calico in her life.

This past weekend I had so many post ideas in my head that I decided to write as many as I could so that I could just click the button and be ready to go each day.  Obviously that did not happen and we've been MIA so far this week, but we thank you for sticking with us while we're planning.
